GlobeSt.com Online Display, Third Party and Rich Media Advertising Technical Specifications

WEBSITE CREATIVE
- Custom Leaderboard: 960×90
- Leaderboard: 728×90

- File Type Accepted: static, animated .gif or .jpg, .swf files with reqired back up static file
- File Size: 30K maximum
- Lead Time: 5 business days
** Graphics that have backgrounds that are the same as GlobeSt.com’s pages must have a border to delineate them from GlobeSt.com’s content. GlobeSt.com reserves the right to add a 1-pixel border to creative.
Instructions for third party tracking tags:
- Lead time: 5 business days
- Third Party Reporting login and password required along with creative materials
- Third party tags are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact malexander@alm.com to discuss specific requirements for third party tags 2 weeks prior to launch.
- Lead time: 7 business days
- File size: 30K maximum
- Requires sniffer-type code to serve backup .gif to users who do not accept rich media.
- Rich media is accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact a malexander@alm.com to discuss specific requirements for rich media prior to sending rich media creative.

Instructions for Shockwave Flash files:
- In the .fla file do not code the destination URL (e.g., http://www.yourcompanysite.com).
The URL coding needs to be as follows:

- final .fla and .swf files
- back-up .gif file
- destination URL when ad is clicked upon
- version of Flash the final .swf file has been saved as (not which version of Flash was used to create the ad)

- Property Alert: 70×70
- Headline: Maximum of 20 characters
- Description which has the maximum of 170 characters. This is including space.
- File Type Accepted: static
- File size: 30K maximum
- Lead time: 5 business days
CO-BRAND
- Subject line: 45 characters maximum (including spaces)
- Table/body width: Maximum 650 pixels
- Lead time: 7 business days
- Simple HTML only (No coding in MS Word, no JavaScript)
- If you use CSS, the CSS needs to be simple inline CSS
- All images included within the file must be hosted by the client
- Suppression list of opt-outs must be sent with creative, and must be no more than 10 days old as per CAN-SPAM laws
- To compensate for email clients blocking images on preview, we recommend not including large images at the top of the emails. If possible, please use text, tables or css code along with the small images to build the header.
The following must be included in the ad:
- Clear and conspicuous indication that the e-mail is an advertisement
- Physical address of the advertiser
** Introductory text & footer provided by GlobeSt.com. Clicks on links to e-mail addresses cannot be tracked.
*Please do not embed a header into the html coding. We provide the header for all Globest. co-brand emails.
*Only one test email will be generated per email. This is the time for clients to make all the modifications. Once this is complete, the only edits that will be permitted are for Globest.
